We (“ThatRecruit”, “We” or “Us”) are an independent website operated by ThatRecruit.com.

The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) are for applicants (“Applicant”, “You” and “Your”) wishing to use this platform for job searching facilities or to apply for advertised positions. These terms set out the relationship between us and you.

By using our services, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms which form the basis of all transactions between us and you. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not engage in our services.

ThatRecruit provides an online service for employers to advertise vacancies and for Applicants to apply for vacancies advertised on our website and other third-party sites. ThatRecruit is not an employment agency or any other agency as defined in the Employment Agencies Act 1973.

1.Using ThatRecruit

1.1 ThatRecruit acts as an introductory platform where Applicants can register and apply for advertised positions.

1.2 In order to apply for advertised vacancies, you are required to create an account (“Account”)

1.3 A ThatRecruit Account allows you to keep track of your applications as well as any potential correspondence received directly from potential employers.

1.4 You shall be required to provide a username and password. It is your responsibility to ensure that all security details are kept confidential.

1.5 ThatRecruit cannot be held responsible for misuse of information misplaced by the you. Users shall be responsible for activity made from their Account.

1.6 ThatRecruit shall store the information provided by you, however, we shall not use, sell or make public such information without your consent.

1.7 Applicants are required to fill in information to form your profile and Account. You shall be asked to provide your CV details and any other references or information which may be useful to your application.

2.CV Upload and Applying

2.1 You may apply for advertised positions directly through our website, or via a third party site. In either case, you shall be required to provide information about yourself and upload a CV to the application.

2.2 Information provided must be accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.

2.3 Due to high volumes of applicants it is not always possible for employers to contact you to advise of positions being taken or closed. As such, we recommend contacting the employer directly if you have any questions about your application.

3.User Obligations

3.1 Applicants warrant to provide their full and correct details and shall ensure that details are updated at all times.

3.2 Uploaded content must be free from immoral, illegal or abusive content.

3.3 Users understand and accept that whilst ThatRecruit do not use personal information for any advertising or marketing purposes, all data is stored on the platform and is protected by our Data Protection and Privacy Policies.

3.4 ThatRecruit provides a platform for employers to find potential employees and vice versa. As such, ThatRecruit is not responsible for either parties’ integrity and we do not provide any assurances on behalf of either applicants or advertisers.

4.ThatRecruit Obligations

4.1 We may change these Terms from time to time. We will give you notice of any changes by posting those changes on Our website. We will not vary any terms which you previously agreed whilst using this Service. However, any amended Terms will apply to your use of this website from the date they are posted and if you do not agree with the amended Terms, you are entitled to stop using this website at that time.

4.2 The relationship between ThatRecruit and you exist only with us as an introductory platform and you as a user.

4.3 ThatRecruit shall have no interaction with its users other than to provide the Service.

4.4 ThatRecruit does not provide background checks or verify users.

4.5 ThatRecruit will not contact you on behalf of a potential employer, or employers on your behalf.

4.6 These Terms and Conditions and our correspondence with you will be communicated in the English language.

5.Disputes

5.1 Disputes between you and an employer or potential employer should be dealt with directly between you. ThatRecruit do not have any responsibility or liability to you to intervene in any dispute arising from your communication or contact.

6.Accountability

6.1 ThatRecruit do not accept any liability or responsibility for the organising or distribution of payments in lieu of work completed and any dispute between the parties in relation to payment is solely between you.

6.2 ThatRecruit does not accept any responsibility for the content of jobs, tasks or projects advertised, nor for the content of the profiles registered by you or employers.

6.3 ThatRecruit cannot guarantee the quality of the projects, jobs or tasks advertised, the legitimacy of the employer or account for you or the vacancy or task in any way whatsoever.

7.Responsibility for Content

7.1 We use Our best endeavours to provide you with a quality service and virus free website. However, we are not responsible for computer viruses or other computer related problems you suffer as a result of using this website, which are beyond our reasonable control. We recommend that you use your own appropriate virus checking software.

7.2 We do not prevent or exclude our responsibility to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

7.3 Neither We, nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose.

7.4 Information provided on this website may contain inaccuracies or errors and we accept no liability whatsoever to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any such inaccuracies or errors.

7.5 Whilst we make every effort to ensure that accurate information is uploaded to the site and third party sites, we cannot guarantee this.

8.Termination and Cancellation

8.1 We may terminate your account, at any time without notice, at our discretion in the event that;

8.1. 1you breach these Terms, and the breach continues for a period of more than 5 working days after you have received notice from us to rectify the breach;

8.1.2 fail to pay sums outstanding and due to us;

8.1.3 You are found to be, in our reasonable opinion, misusing the service, acting immorally, illegally or in competition, whether directly or indirectly, with ThatRecruit or are acting in such a way as to cause damage to ThatRecruit’s name, reputation or service.

9.Accessing our site

9.1 Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

9.2 You agree that you shall not do anything that affects the integrity or security of this website or causes or may cause harm, damage or unreasonable inconvenience to other users of this website or us.

9.3 If you breach any of the clauses set out at above, we may take such action as we deem appropriate, including denying you access to this website, bringing legal proceedings against you and disclosing such information to appropriate legal and/or regulatory bodies.

10.Intellectual property rights

10.1 We are the owners or the licensees of all intellectual property rights in and on our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

10.2 You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our site.

10.3 You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

10.4 Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our site must always be acknowledged.

10.5 You must not use any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

10.6 If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

11.Advertising on our Site

11.1 ThatRecruit may, from time to time, advertise other companies on the website. These advertisements are independent of ThatRecruit and ThatRecruit do not necessarily agree with, promote or condone the content of the advertisements.

11.2 ThatRecruit do not accept any responsibility or liability for any content or sites which you are directed to as a result of clicking on an advertisement shown on the website or for any third party sites that you may be referred to.

12.Our site changes regularly

12.1 We aim to update our site regularly, and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to our site, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.

13.Our liability

13.1 The material displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we, and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

13.1.1 All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.

13.1.5 Once you have contacted an employer and have been appointed by them, you are bound by their independent terms and conditions which are in no way whatsoever connected to ThatRecruit.
