Keep Your Employees Engaged This December

With the end of the year soon approaching, everyone is looking forward to spending some time off over Christmas. Unfortunately, though, most businesses find that some people start to switch off a little early during the festive season.

We have a couple of ideas here at That Recruit to keep your employees motivated on the last leg of the year to keep them going through to the finish line…

  1. Set new targets - Come up with new targets complete with incentives. Make it fun, as this can work wonders for you and your employees’ morale.
  2. Extra holidays/early finishes for hitting targets - You will find that most of your staff want to get out of work as soon as possible over the festive season so why not use that to your advantage? Offer your employees the opportunity to finish early for hitting their targets by offering an extra day off or even letting the employee leave as soon as their target is reached, it’s up to you. A good-will gesture is bound to boost productivity this December and your staff will really appreciate it.
  3. Take your employees out - Even something as simple as a meal at a local restaurant or a couple of drinks at the pub will make you employees feel festive. It is important to say “thank you” for their hard work and they will really appreciate it.

Overall, There are lots of ways to keep your staff pushing until the last day and only you will know what will work best for your business. Get creative and you will be amazed at how well you can motivate your staff.
