Being in the recruitment business we're always looking at options that answer the question of 'where to advertise jobs'. We thought it would be fun to put together a top five list of where to advertise everything, other than jobs!
Advertising a house for sale?
Advertising property is big business in the UK and the property industry has been transformed over recent years. There are a number of key players in this space that bridge the gap between buyers, sellers and agents. The undisputed king is Rightmove. Wikipedia says:
Rightmove plc is a UK-based company that runs www.rightmove.co.uk, the UK's largest online real estate portal and property website. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
Advertising a car?
Instead of part exchanging vehicles, private sales have become more and more popular with the rise of the internet. Where property has seen a new player enter the market, the car market has seen the survival of the market leader with Auto Trader. Autotrader was founded in 1975 and today has revenue in excess of £250m. Wikipedia says:

Advertising your old stuff?
In 2016 there really is no excuse for clutter. There are thousands of sites who are keen to get hold of your old CDs, clothes, antiques and just about anything else you have lying about in the back of a drawer. The undisputed king of this market is eBay. eBay.co.uk has a global rank of 61 according to SimilarWeb along with total visits of 409m! Wikipedia says:

Advertising your business for sale?
Another growing area of the internet is the sale of trading businesses. Lots of unique portals give SME owners the opportunity to market their business to prospective buyers. The UK’s largest and most popular portal for business purchase opportunities is Daltons. Daltons say:

Advertise a room to let?
We covered traiditional purchases and lettings earlier, however looking online is a great way of finding opportunities for non traditional letting. Whether it is a student let, a flatshare or if you're looking to make the most of your spare room, SpareRoom is the UK's busiest flatshare site. Spareroom say:
